The Berkshire Collection brings together a Rockford Furniture Company dining table with six chairs and two extension leaves, a companion Rockford buffet, a Councill Craftsmen inlaid lowboy, and a matched Bob Timberlake for Lexington nightstand pair.
Walkwood Furniture acquired the Rockford dining table, chairs, leaves, and buffet together from one household in 2025. Surviving “A Line” paper labels identify Rockford Furniture Company; an exact single factory production run has not been confirmed.
Documented maker. Shared household provenance. Restored and presented for the next chapter.

The Walkwood Restoration
Restoration Beyond the Surface
Each acquisition was restored in the Milwaukee-area studio with structural integrity, working function, finish quality, and original character treated as one standard.
Rockford Dining Group
Surfaces brought back by hand; all six seats newly upholstered; original brass buffet hardware cleaned and reinstalled.
Dining Seating
All six seats renewed in cream cut-scrollwork fabric with fresh cambric dust covers.
Buffet Interiors
The buffet's top two drawers are lined in the same fabric used on the seating — a deliberate interior detail.
Councill Lowboy
Top taken to bare wood and rebuilt to studio standard while preserving the intact inlay and border.
Nightstand Pair
Both tops taken to bare wood and restored to an even satin sheen, matched in color and depth.
